December Meeting

The meeting started at 7PM with 13 Members present, 3 excused & 4 absent.

   Our Annual Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday Feb. 9th, 2008 at the Buzzards Bay Eagles Club at 7 PM.  Twelve of our members have already signed up to bring food.....if you have not done so already and you plan to attend the Banquet   PLEASE   bring a dish of some kind for all to enjoy.

The day after the Banquet, Feb. 10th, we will need to fulfill our obligation to the Federation, which is to help with Casting Kids at the Fishing Expo in Worcester.  We need at least three members to represent us .... so far Scott Lenox, and Chuck Casella have volunteered to go and we have drafted Dave Wojcik as a new member to be our third.....but we can always use more volunteers.  It's a 3 hour deal with the kids and your admission to the Expo is FREE, so come on members ---STEP UP TO THE PLATE !!!

    Our membership is still down,and we need 4 new members, 1 Boater and 3 Non-Boaters so if you know of anyone interested in joining, please bring them to the next meeting.

   As a Fundraiser to help raise money for the club .... we are going to raffle off a large picture frame stuffed with $250.00 worth of scratch off tickets ( 5-$20. // 10-$10. // & 10-$5. tickets )   We will only sell 125 tickets at $10.00 each  and each members WILL be responsible to sell at least 6 tickets which will be handed out at the next meeting.  The drawing for this prize will be at our Awards Banquet on Feb. 9th.
