November Meeting

The meeting started at 7:07 PM with 10 members present, 4 excused, and 5 absent.

                        IMPORTANT REMINDER: 

IF YOU DO NOT CALL AN OFFICER OF THE CLUB TO TELL THEM YOU ARE NOT COMING TO THE MEETING --- YOU WILL BE FINED $5.00 & 500 POINTS. 

    Two of our eight Tournaments have permits already.....they are June 7, 2009 at Long Pond - Harwich and June 21, at Wequaquet....the rest of the list will be ready soon.

    It was voted unanimously that the club pay Eric Nelson for the Care & Maintenance of our CLub Website...... (Now maybe some of OUR pictures will appear there ??? )

  Two prospective members, Bill & Kylen, attended the meeting tonight to find out a little more about the Club....We hope they decide to join.     At this point in time we are down 5 Non-Boaters---if you know of anyone that might be looking to join a Fishing Club----Have them come to a meeting. ( Boaters who join as Non-Boaters have first crack at becoming Boaters when a position opens )

   The Contract for another year was signed and paid for with the Eagles Club.

   A sign-up sheet was past around for food you want to bring to our Banquet.....Please sign up to bring something......A meal, a dessert, a salad, anything at all.    Our Annual Awards Banquet will be on Saturday Feb. 7, 2009 @ 6:00 PM at our meeting hall.....( There will be NO meeting in Feb do to the Dinner)   The list of what you want to bring will be past around at the next 2 meetings ----or ----you can email one of the Club Officers.

    As we did last year.....we will be Raffling - Off a frame filled with $250.00 worth of scratch tickets. (5-$20.00---10-$10.00---10-$5.00 Tickets)  We will sell our raffle tickets at $10.00  each and every member will be responsible for selling a certain amount of tickets (to be determained by the next meeting) The drawing will be at our Banquet on Feb. 7th.
