JUNE MEETING
The meeting started at 7:17 PM with 12 members present, 7 excused & 3 absent......the absentees were Carl Anderson, John Ferranti, and Paul Fiandaca...each will be fined $5.00 and 500 points.
NIGHT TOURNAMENT :
The possibilty of a night tourny on Mashpee/Wakeby is a big NO. They have reached their tournament limits for June, July, and August. Wayne will continue to try and schedule a night tournament to make up for the one we are missing. Members present were asked to please make sure that I have a phone number or some means of communication that I can use to get in touch with them to let them know if and when there will be a night tournament in July.....since there will NOT be a July meeting.
TOC :
The TOC is tentively set for Sunday Sept. 27th on Wequaquet and we are just waiting for the permit.
PONDS FOR 2010 :
Ballots were passed out to the members and the 8 lakes and 2 alternates were picked.....and they are......Wequaquet, Sampsons, Mashpee, Ashumet, Long Pond- Lakeville, Glen Charlie, Billington, E. Monponsett, Nippenicket, and South Watuppa. A tentative schedule will be ready soon.
6 POUNDER POOL :
The vote for a 6 Pounder Pool was unanimous, and a few details as to how it works were explained. A more detailed plan will be ready by the August meeting.
***** SPECIAL NOTE *****
If for some reason we cannot have a night or a make-up tournament the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prize money will go into the 6 pounder pool as a starter prize.
POWDERHORN :
Powderhorn Outfitters ( the tackle shop in Hyannis that gives us our Lunker Prize ) is having a "Big Bass Tournament" during the summer. If you are interested ---see me for details.
CLUB OFFICERS :
No nominees were needed since we still have another year to go.
