May Meeting

The meeting started at 7:12 PM wiith 13 members present, 5 excused, and 2 absent.  Kevin Jones and Scott Lennox will both be fined $5.00 and 500 points.

With all the rain over the past few months , Long Pond, Lakeville has had a problem with water all the way into the parking lot....but we have been assured that by the time we have our tournament there (7/18) that problem will be resolved.

There was a problem with our tournament on Mashpee ---- you can read about it and the solution in Waynes notes -- " MASHPEE ISSUE" on this website.

Sagamore Bridge traffic for Sunday 5/9 was discussed, and at the time of the meeting, bridge work was still being done........but the latest news is that all four lanes will be open over the weekend until 7AM Monday morning.

Members are reminded that they need to elect new Officers in August, and they should start considering who they want to nominate.  There is also the issue about the "DING RULE" in the By-Laws.    Some options are:  $5.00 / 500 points (as it is now ), $5.00 / 250 points, $10.00 only,  $5.00 only, 500 or 250 points only, or drop the rule totally ??  What do you want to do ?????

Membership is at 20 members now -- 15 boaters, 5 Non-Boaters.....if you know of anyone that wants to join ...... bring them to a meeting.
