October Meeting

   The meeting was called to order at 7:14 PM with 10 members present, 5 excused, and 4 absent.

   The main topic of discussion was about an incident at the TOC where one member could not make it to the tournament and everybody was moved up a position. When the non-boater picked a number, that person (on the original list) had moved up one position and the next person received the non-boater. That person felt that no one should have moved up and the missing boaters space should have been left blank, and if the non-boater picks the blank space,,,,, he must draw again.

   A motion was made to change the protocol to the above mentioned procedure.......this was voted upon and defeted 8-2......the draw procedure will remain the same.

   It was also discussed about last meetings suggestion to change the amount of anglers participatinging in the TOC from the top 10 to 1/3 of the membership. At this time we all felt that we would have more fun with 10 of us rather then 1/3.......so it was voted by all members to keep the TOC at 10.

   The 6 pounder pool  was brought up because of the possility of two anglers catching a 6 pound bass in the same tounament. The rules will now state that the prize money will go to the heavest fish caught THAT DAY.

   The Awards Banquet has been set for Saturday February 12th, 2011, from 6-11 PM .

   Papers were handed out to the members to vote for "Sportsman of the Year"  and the winner was Frank Marcano   (thank you).
