March Meeting

The meeting was short due to low attendance.

Present were- Gary Labrie, Gary Joy, Curt Young, Bob Keefe, Ryan Fontain.

Excused- Rich Lachance, Adam Lachance, Frank Marcano and Al Simmons.

2 new members-- Justin Tavares and Josh Veloso.

Dave Wojcik took in $90 from Cran Bog Hogs.

Members voted to allow Dave use some of that money to purchase a new base for the scale.

Members voted for the location for the TOC 2012 -- Johns Pond. Hopefully Dave can get a permit for that.

If not, then we will let him pick the location.

The report from the banquet was as follows--

We took in $1,375 from both raffles.

We spent $1,034.51 on awards, lottery, rods, tackle, etc.

and netted $339.49.

April 1^st being the first Tournament of the season means BOAT INSPECTION TIME ---- and here are the requirements to PASS the Inspection --

1- Working Navigation Lights (Front & Rear)

2- Sound Device (Bell, Horn, etc.)

3- P.F.D. for each person on board

4- Type 1B-1 Fire Extinguisher

5- Alternate propulsion (electric motor, oar, etc.)

6- Bilge Pump -- Hand Bailer etc.

7- Wiring in good condition

8- Batteries secure to prevent arcing

9- Functional aerated livewell space for ten fish

10- Registration Numbers

ALSO ***** If your Boat Insurance is not up to date you must bring a copy of it to the ramp at Santuit - and the following members that need to bring copies are: Chuck Casella, John Ferranti, Gary Joy, Rich LaChance, Eric Nelson and Dave Wojcik. Others that will be due soon are: In April-Bob Keefe and CurtYoung and in May--Jeff Fresh and Gary Labrie.
