April Meeting

The meeting started at 7:02 PM with 6 members present, 12 excused and 2 absent. The meeting was short do to the low turnout.

Discussed was the need for a detailed Boat Inspection, and since we are not part of the Federation anymore, we thought that we may be able to trim the inspection down abit. We will discuss this and decide what part of the 10 point inspection is necessary and what is not.

Massachusetts has evoked a NO LEAD policy for tackle under 1 oz. We have decided that it will be up to the members as to what they want to do as far as using lead or a lead substitute … BUT … the club policy will be as follows… if you are stopped by the DEP and fined for using lead, you will be DISQUALIFIED from that tournament.
