Sampson's Pond will have $50 Fee

I received an Email from the Town of Carver stating the following message, we were already approved prior to this change so are exempt from this rule for the 2014 tournament.

Good afternoon.

Please note that as of April 2nd, the Board of Selectmen voted to approve a non-refundable $50.00 fee for use of Town Property, which would include Sampson’s Pond.

This change in policy does not affect any previously approved tournaments.

But, please remember all future requests need to be accompanied by a check made payable to the Town of Carver.

You may still reserve your date via telephone or e-mail.  I have attached a copy of our new request form, for your convenience.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter. 

Please let anyone know that may be planning on getting a permit for Sampsons Pond in the future. To me, well worth it because it can be an awesome place to fish!
