December Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 7:03 PM with 11 members present, 4 absent and 1 excused. Included in the roll call is a new non-boater named Ryan Fontaine….Welcome into the Club Ryan. There is a possibility of two boaters joining the club and they would be a unique team as they are husband and wife…. And this would be a first for Cape Cod Bass.

As it stands now……the Club Roster is almost full with 10 boaters and 7 non-boaters.

Dave Wojo, our Tournament Director, has been doing an outstanding job with the tournaments on our behalf for Cran Bog Hawgs and with the scale being as overworked as it is, he feels it should be upgraded and  add on an external read out. This was put up for a vote with the members present and all were in favor of the upgrade. As for our schedule …. Some of the lakes have the permits already and it shouldn’t be long before we’re ready to go.

The Raffle Tickets for the $250.00 worth of scratch tickets were passed out ….the drawing will be at our Awards Banquet on Feb. 11, 2012 where old and new members and their quests are welcome. The following members did not get their raffle tickets and as you all know you are still responsible to sell them…..they are Steve Ayala, John Ferranti, Eric Nelson, Paul Nelson, and Curt Young.

The pending regulation about the use of lead under 1 oz. will be discussed in more detail at a later date ….. But it is our thinking that at a tournament if you are using a lead jig or weight under 1oz. And you are caught and fined by the E.P. you will be DQ’ed at the weigh-in.

The only thing left to vote on tonight was the “Sportsman of the Year” Award….papers were passed out and the vote was for Frank M.      THANK YOU !!
