About Cape Cod Bass
Cape Cod Bass is a private, members-only bass fishing club serving anglers across Cape Cod and the South Shore, running a season-long tournament trail since the late 1980s.
How It Works
Each season, or "Trail," is a series of tournaments held throughout the year at local lakes and ponds — from John's Pond in Mashpee to Lake Sabbatia in Taunton. Anglers compete as Boaters or Non-Boaters, all on equal footing, chasing the same title: Angler of the Year.
Every tournament counts toward season-long Standings — tracking points, wins, and biggest catches by species — with the top anglers recognized when the season wraps up.
Run By Members, For Members
Cape Cod Bass is governed by a small group of elected Directors — a President, Vice President (who also serves as Tournament Director), Secretary, and Treasurer — who volunteer their time to run tournaments, maintain the club's bylaws, and keep things fair for everyone on the water.
