Great day on the water for those who SHOWED UP and lots of food. Everyone had a good time. Warren set a record for being there early. We thank everyone who brought some food and all that pastry. I hate to say it but John Ferranti (grill master) along with Annie Luongo did a great job with the cooking.
John spent a lot of time running around buying the food, also pre cooking the peppers and onions. He also spent some of his own money saving the club the added expense. So lets give the guy a hand he did a lot of work. Also not to forget the girls who brought all the pastry and MR & MRS Curt for having us all there.
As usual Gary Labrie won the smallie lunker pool with a 2.44lb smallie wtg Gary. After all was said and done the CHAMPION OF THE DAY was MAC, for those who don’t know her she's Eric Nelson's better half. The way I heard it, she caught all the fish in his boat. He says he caught some but I was there when she caught lunker that was a 4.56 largie, every time I went by his boat he was getting the net for MACK, so the true CHAMPION IS MACK but Eric did a good job as net boy. MACK says she would have him along any time to be her net boy. With a total weight of 14.82lbs MACK & her net boy Eric who never fished there before dominated the field with a first place finish with lunker.
