as far as getting wet no one had a problem with that but the predicted winds of 25 to 35 ene seem to be the concern.i wasn't going to fish anyway so it didn't matter to me one way or the other.but when i tried to find someone to bring the scales and equipment to the tournament, the guys i called that lived close to me all said if was blowing a gail they were going back to bed.the last guy i called was Jim Z. when i told him what was going on he suggest we call all the members. to see how many were going to fish. a question was asked to 24 members do you want to fish or cancel 6 said they wanted to fish, some said they would but would rather not the majority wanted to cancel.you should thank JIM Z. he wanted to spare you all the expence of driving to harwich and finding no one there. I'm the tournament director not JIM Z so if you want to blame someone blame me not JIM, cause i don't give a rats ***.all you guys who don't do **** for the club are the first to bitch.as far as the 100.00 we paid for the permit it would be paid by the 6 guys that showed up, that's 16.66 each. I'm sure you wouldn't bitch about that either.(ya rite) as far as the 6 guys to re schedule the tournament be my guest we don't have a meeting before the next tournament so you call all 24 members and get the permit.as far as I'm concerned we did the wright thing.i know of 5 other tournaments that were canceled that day not for rain but the wind they were concerned about safety.aba had a tournament Sunday at harwich and by 10am 15 boats left.enough said.
