Unfortunately many of the club "fishermen" were afraid to get wet today. With the weather advisory being a little rough, and the number of guys not wanting to fish There was a majority consensus to cancel the tournament. I can't post what my girl called Bob Iodice and Jimmy Z.. but hearing that our of a woman's mouth got Bob pretty excited! hahahaha (In Bob's defense he wasn't going to fish anyway.. Jimmy.. well sorry dude!) She was one of the few from our club to fish the rain at Wattuppa for the Steve Pimental Benefit. So she isn't feeling anyone's pain on this one.
From what I understand, there were only 6 guys who wanted to fish. I put the proposal forward that the 6 who wanted to fish should be the ones to choose the date and place of the make up tournament. No need to give the "fair weather fisherman" a say. I also proposed that the others should have to wear one of their wife's skirts for the entire tournament. And maybe a pair of heals and lipstick.
Funny thing is it looks like the rain will be over at 11 am, and the wind isn't as bad from what I can tell as the weatherman predicted.
There is also the item to be discussed about the $100 we spent to use the ramp.Can this be used for the September Tourney there?? Who knows.
I'm going fishing anyway..
