Congratulations to Jim Zarella for pulling it off and winning the prestigious Angler of the Year Title for Cape Cod Bass!!
With the usuall tough ending to a season with tight races, Jim was able to hold on to the lead for his first AOY title in Cape Cod Bass. With a club full of great fisherman, it is something to be proud of.
Jim beat out Jeff Coates by bag weight only, they were tied in points. With roughly 10 pounds more total weight for the year, Jim was able to knock Jeff out.
From memory this has to be the closest finish for AOY!
