What as beautiful day for a Tournament !!! A light wind on the water, and the sun trying to chase away the few clouds there were ... all we needed was the fish to cooperate to make it a perfect day.
By 6:35 AM everybody was in their boats and ready to go.....even Warren was there at 6:15 AM ready to put his boat in. At the draw I was lucky enough to draw the 2008 Angler of the Year Jeff Coates. Everybody told me "DO WHAT HE DOES" So I did....if he threw a spinnerbait ... I threw a spinnerbait ... if he threw a senko ... I threw a senko ... if he threw a pig & jig ... I threw a pig & jig ... I did everything he did EXCEPT catch fish ... but I had fun anyway.
The 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners were Jeff Coates, Jim Zarella, and Warren Burrell .... with Lunker going to Warren for a 4.99 Largie.

Let's hope we have the same great weather and fish bags on Sunday June 21st ( Fathers Day) when we fish Wequaquet. SEE YOU THERE !!!
