Santuit Pond - August 11, 2002

September 11, 2002

Tough day at Santuit for mostly everyone, except Warren! The only one to be culling at 7:30am, and most of the guys didn't even cull a fish all day! Warren had a total weight of 16.94 lbs, with lunker as well at 5.08lbs! Way to go brother! More pictures here.

Another good note for the day was that we had a large turn out for the club, 22 out of 23 guys showed up to fish!

We also voted on raising the payouts due to only fishing 6 tournaments instead of eight, while leaving the dues at the same rate. First place for a full club will be $230 for first, $140 for second and $90 for third. We also voted to raise lunker pool to $10 per person and we will stop doing the hats. We will also add optional smallie lunker pools to qualifying lakes.

August Meeting

Memberships:
Regretfully we will be saying goodbye for now to a few membes who decided not to re-join the club. Jim Hickey decided to find another club that runs it's tournaments on Saturdays, we wish him well and will see him around at One Shot. Stu Landers has also decided not to join. And lastly we are sad to see Ken NIckerson go. Not so much because we will miss him, but the jerk is heading down to N. Carolina to fish some major trails as well as take advantage of the great fisheries down there. So we are all just pretty much jealous. Good luck and we hope to see you back here. We would like to welcome Glen Sherman and Steve Pimental into the club, they were both voted in at the meeting.

!!! There is also an open non-boater slot, contact any one of the club members and its first come first serve!!!

Dues:
There are a few members who have yet to pay, myself included. If you have not paid yet, make sure you have a check no later than This Sunday at Santuit Pond or you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FISH!!!!!.

Insurance:
All the boaters who aren't sure or now that their policies have been renewed or changed, should contact me before Sunday to make sure I have their papers. If I don't, you won't be able to fish. I will post a list online as well as call the ones I think need to get them to me.

Next Meeting:
Now is the time to start thinking of ponds you want to fish next year as well as if you would like to be more than just a member and run for an officer position. We will vote on a list of ponds as well as nominate officers for a final vote in October.

Lake Winnipesakee Results (Yes Jim, Its staying up)

A little rain for some, some clouds for others, but for the most part a decent day for fishing. The weather seemed to keep a lot of the pleasure boaters inside, and with little wind, there wasn't much as far as rough waters was concerned. A lot of limits came in with both smallies and largies.

Eric Nelson (thats me hehe) won with
13 1/2 lbs of largies, Second went to Mark Hickey with 12 1/2 lbs, who was making me nervous when I saw his bag dumped into the drain sink. Third went to Bob Iodice with over 11 lbs. Here is the results
